"Phantoms of the Clark Expedition"

This exhibit focuses on the 1908–09 expedition that Sterling Clark, founder of the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, MA, led to northern China. Artist Mark Dion has crafted white papier-mâché recreations of the gear the team used, which comment on the trip and the Explorers Club Trophy Room itself, where the show is being held.
