When celebrating the birthday of modernist master Pierre Boulez, it's hard to think of a better setting than the Met's newly reinstalled 20th-century gallery. It's there that you'll hear pianist Conor Hanick play the maestro's late-career miniature Une page d'éphéméride as well as the overtone-strewn, dreamy assault of the "Constellation-Miroir" movement from the composer's Third Piano Sonata. Works by Cage and David Fulmer round out the brief afternoon bill, which is free (after paying the museum's flexible admission).
