We're all dreaming of summer already and, this weekend, we might even get a taste of it—albeit in a very non-traditional way.
Iconic Central Park ice skating destination, Wollman Rink is hosting a beach-themed skating session alongside members of the Coney Island Polar Bear Club this Saturday from NOON to 2pm. Consider this the very first Polar Skate event of its kind.
What, exactly, does beach-themed ice skating look like? You're going to have to head to Central Park and see but do expect attendees to wear their summer attire. You can also opt to show up all bundled up and cheer for the Polar Bear Club from the sidelines.
Following the polar skate, guests are invited to join an afterparty and warm up rinkside at the Hot Toddy Tent.
