The new-classical Web broadcaster celebrates some of the year's best recordings by inviting leading composers and performers to the stage. The trio Tre Voci (which includes violist Kim Kashkashian, flutist Marina Piccinini and harpist Sivan Magen) will present a work by Takemitsu. Soprano Mellissa Hughes will sing selections from Jacob Cooper's recent Nonesuch album Silver Threads. Violinists Cornelius Dufallo and Amy Kauffman will play new items by Anna Clyne. Meet the Composer host (and violist) Nadia Sirota will lead the discussions in between the performances.
