Queens Country Farm Pumpkin Patch

Skip the supermarket lines and make a day of collecting pumpkins straight from the farm. Queens County Farm harvests pumpkins in October; all you have to do is walk around the pumpkin patch collecting the orange orbs ($3–$15, depending on pumpkin size). While you're there, check out the maze made from maize (adults $8, children $5), feed the farm's goats, poke around the petting zoo ($9), and hitch a hay ride on a tractor-pulled wagon ($2).
