RE/Mixed Media Festival

Combinations, collaborations and cross-pollinations are the impetus behind the third RE/Mixed Media Festival. The day-into-evening schedule features a musical mixtape exchange, an improv scene cobbled together from found audio clips, a live DJ battle, sound bites and images of presidential candidates in a multimedia installation, and plenty more creative appropriations. Plus, catch video screenings and panel discussions, including authors Jonathan Ames, Eduardo Navas, Ed Champion and McKenzie Wark chatting about how mash-ups are used in literature.
