August 11 marked the awaited launch of collaboration of guest Editor Susan Sarandon and Time Out New York as we celebrated the release of the new issue at the star’s magnificent Ping-Pong hang-out hot-spot, SPiN.  There was plenty of beer flowing thanks to Stella Artois, Bud Light and Goose Island.  VIP cocktails were provided by CitySip featuring Monkey Shoulder Scotch Whisky and Reyka Vodka, along with Gloria Ferrer sparkling rosé to welcome guests.  SPIN graciously passed delicious cheeseburger bites and shrimp.

Time Out New York
staffers were treated to celebrity hair and make-up by professional make-up artist Jerry Lopez www.jerrylopez.net. Staffer and new subscribers hit the tables and made merry in the photobooths provided by .nyc—that's the city's official web address. For the first time ever - cities, brands and organizations are getting their own top-level domain and New York City is one of the first. Now, Time Out and New Yorkers-alike can own a piece of the internet and tell the world with a .nyc web address. Request yours early before it's too late: ownit.nyc.
