The Rubin Museum re-creates the physical experience of worship from some of the holiest sites around the world, with a reimagining of a traditional Buddhist shrine room, a photographic view of a Himalayan site where monks have congregated for ages and a video installation on a Jain anointing ritual in India. This exhibit exposes you to fascinating traditions that are inspiring and powerful.
