Look out, Velma and Roxie, SHE-CAGO is about to play fast and loose with the long-running Broadway favorite Chicago, parodying the musical with a cast of all-trans, femme-fatale performers. The high-camp, full-length musical from Baby Love will offer new numbers, choreography even Fosse couldn't have dreamed of and more showbiz satire than imaginable at East Williamsburg's The Brooklyn Monarch (23 Meadow St.), courtesy of Brooklyn–based parody theatre collective Fagtasia. With just two performances April 11 and April 12, audiences won't want to miss this soon-to-be queer classic.
