Just when you thought New York City couldn’t get any more magical, step into Harry Potter New York. The immersive shop in Flatiron is a go-to Manhattan destination for Harry Potter fans, whether it’s your first time stopping by or your weekly pass through for a quick glance at the sale section, opportunity to mingle with other Potterheads or explore one of the largest collections of Harry Potter products under one roof.

There’s no place like Ollivanders in Diagon Alley, but Harry Potter New York’s wand shop is a close second for wand enthusiasts. Choose from over 50 types of wands, and test your selection at the interactive wand table. Diehard fans will notice Patronuses and more hidden symbols throughout the wand shop, helping guide wizards and muggles alike to the best wand purchase.
Previously only available in the UK and Universal Studios, Butterbeer is now enjoyable in New York, thanks to the in-shop Butterbeer Bar at Harry Potter New York. Here, imbibers can taste a frothy glass of Butterbeer on draft, stock up on bottled Butterbeer to take home, or indulge in Butterbeer ice cream, all underneath a magical chandelier of glowing Butterbeer bottles. It’s non-alcoholic (suitable for all ages) and the souvenir tankard is an extra gift to take with you. It’s not all about the delicious butterbeer, though. Make sure to try some of the amazing treats that are also available, including the Happee Birthdae Harry cake, a few sorting hat cookies and the Daily Prophet cupcake.
Harry Potter New York isn’t your standard store, it’s immersively themed at every step. Dress up in cloaks, sweaters, Quidditch uniforms, Harry Potter ‘fits or whatever suits your fancy for endless photo opps throughout the store. Pose like you’re Harry himself getting letters from Hogwarts through the fireplace, slipping into the telephone box entrance to the Ministry of Magic Headquarters and finding more surprises and settings as you explore.
Harry Potter has become a bit ubiquitous around the world (we see you, millions of fans), but Harry Potter New York has items you can’t buy anywhere else. Think exclusive jerseys, hoodies, pins, a Griffin Stairwell wand and more unique products you’ll have to visit the store to find. Perfect for collectors, New Yorkers or those who want a special souvenir from their time in Manhattan. One-of-a-kind personalized gear is also sold in the store’s ‘Things That Must Be Named’ section.
Sure, you’ve read all the Harry Potter books and their accompanying prequels and spinoffs, but have you ever seen them all in one place? Sweet tooths can indulge at the Honeydukes-inspired Confectionary, well stocked with iconic Wizarding World treats such as chocolate frogs, Fizzing Whizzbees and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans (be careful with those). If you have a darker side, the green tiled Dark Arts department and its larger than life Nagini bursting out of the ceiling is calling your name…in Parseltongue, of course.
