Everyone knows New York is the best place to be for New Year's Eve, but that doesn't mean things always go according to plan. (That is, if you even have a plan yet.) Whether it's making a bad mistake after a couple bottles of champagne or accidentally sleeping through midnight all together, these Gothamites have plenty to share about starting the new year off on the wrong foot. (And in one case, a broken toe.) So this year, while you’re jamming out to your best party song mix in that brand-new New Year's Eve dress, heed the warnings of those NYE revelers who have gone before you.
