Time Out says

Over the course of five days The Taste of Iceland is ready to prove that there is a lot more to the island nation than just Björk.

Iceland is one of the most intriguing nations in the world. While we definitely recommend visiting, we don't all of the means for international travel. But luckily any New Yorker can get to Brooklyn for the low price of $2.75 thanks to the MTA, and there you will find the Taste of Iceland. Through a series of concerts, dinners, films and readings you'll be able to experience a little bit of island nation. The week is full of exciting events from a dance event on the William Vale rooftop to a dinner at Brooklyn Cider House to a concert by Icelandic musicians at Brooklyn Brewery. See the full schedule of events here. Skál!
