While Temple Emanu-El is best known as a synagogue, it's also a destination for variety of socially engaging events open to all. Temple Emanu-El offers a warm and majestic environment for worship, as well as educational and cultural programming for New Yorkers of all faiths and ages. The temple features a top-rated nursery school, an award-winning religious school, the Stettenheim Library, the Herbert & Eileen Bernard Judaica Museum, the Streicker Outreach Center, Emanu-El Downtown, and the Temple Emanu-El Streicker Center with Judaic, cultural, and socio-political adult educational programming.
