CMJ. The Antlers, one of our favorite local acts, who rewrote the book on depressive indie rock, bring their epic miniature symphonies to Union Square Ballroom, where they play a matinee set at 4:30pm. On in the same space earlier in the day are Kishi Bashi (2:30pm), a Seattle-born violin guru purveying psychedelic indie pop; Wild Nothing (12:30pm), Jack Tatum's deliciously dreamy, ’80s-style one-man band; and Line & Circle (10:30am). Note that while the performances are free, you'll need to R.S.V.P. here: cmj.com/cmjunion.
