Do you love communal seating at a restaurant? Does the idea of eating dinner at a table full of strangers sound more like a chance to make new friends than a recurring nightmare? If your answers were a resounding yes, then The Dinner Table Club is for you. On September 3, the group will host a three-course, family-style Mediterranean meal at Acadia (101 W 57th St.), where diners are encouraged to mingle and receive a complimentary glass of wine before sitting down. And then, like speed dating, guests switch seats between courses, giving everyone a chance to meet someone new. Maybe you'll make some friends, maybe you'll just have a good meal—either way, you know you're coming home with a story to tell.
