Hong Kong screen legend Tony Leung returns to New York as Film at Lincoln Center mounts a career-spanning retrospective of one of cinema’s most magnetic stars. Running Wednesday, April 29 through Thursday, May 7, the 13-film series showcases Leung’s remarkable range, from swoon-worthy romantic leads to steely crime antiheroes in classics such as In the Mood for Love, Chungking Express, Hero and The Grandmaster. Screenings span restorations, 35mm prints and fan-favorite collaborations with auteurs like Wong Kar-wai and John Woo. Throughout, Leung will be on hand for special events and conversations.
