The New Face of Discrimination: Microaggressions and LGBT Asian Americans

Microaggressions are commonplace, typically offhanded situations that are insulting to members of oppressed groups (think: variations on "that's so gay"). At this workshop, part of APICHA's ongoing "Healthier Me" series, Dr. Kevin Nadal discusses microaggressions aimed at queer Asians, and how to best handle the situations when they come up.
