Brooklyn-based chef and mixologist Itta Wediger leads this tour of Crown Heights focusing on the many kosher groceries, bakeries and restaurants that call the neighborhood home.
Expect to devour both old-time favorites (Pickles! Herring!) and treats from newer establishments, including pizzas that will transport you to the middle of Italy and the sorts of artisanal croissants that kosher foodies are still getting used to.
The tour kicks off at 11am in front of the Jewish Children's Museum and wraps up at 2pm, at which point you'll be so full you'll probably want to walk home—wherever home is.
