The NYC skyline is now dominated by skyscrapers that sway in the wind, but there is also a more pragmatic (and sturdier) structure that has come to define the city's views: the lowly wooden water tower. Now, a new 1.5-mile walking tour takes amblers around the city to point out some of the best of the city, as well as a reminder that, while NYC is often at the forefront, sometimes that means we got it pretty right the first time.
