The Queen’s Classic at Citi Field

Women's soccer is heading to Citi Field for the first time ever when Gotham FC takes on longtime rival the Washington Spirit in the inaugural Queens Classic. The July 15 matchup marks the first women's professional sporting event at the Mets' home stadium and reunites two of the NWSL's fiercest foes in a rematch of the 2025 championship game. Expect plenty of star power, with U.S. Women's National Team standouts like Rose Lavelle and Trinity Rodman set to face off under the lights. Gates open at 6:30pm for the 8pm kickoff, and fans can stick around for a public watch party of the FIFA World Cup semifinal before the match.x
