The Sonic Unconscious

Experimental arts nonprofit Issue Project Room brings a trio of sound artists—Jana Winderen, Yolande Harris and Gina Badger—to share their environment-based work. The series, happening over three days, includes botany tours of Gowanus, an installation about how shrimp and other tiny sea inhabitants use sound to communicate, and an exhibition of ocean-inspired and underwater sounds.
