Time Out says

Founded by Amy Wong and Matt Rosenblum, The Tiny Cupboard is an underground performance space located on the border of East Bushwick and Bed-Stuy. It’s a tiny art studio, comedy church and large rooftop—all used as performance spaces.

There’s a lot going on, too. The Headliner series gives the platform to a big name for a 45-minute set, plus we like the sound of the House Special nights, which welcome a combo of house favorites and the best in up-and-coming talent.

Keep an eye out for podcast specials, workshops, and some very decent open mic nights, too.

The Tiny Cupboard says
The Tiny Cupboard is the coolest (and only) underground speakeasy comedy club in Brooklyn, and truly the most affordable comedy club in NYC! Located in Bushwick, they feature the best up-and-coming comics around as well as pros from TV. This comedy club is truly where up-and-comers launch their comedy careers nowadays.

Featuring anywhere from 2-5 stand-up comedy shows every single day, and dozens of open mic opportunities each week. The Tiny Cupboard is currently the center of the open mic scene in NYC. You'll see a lot of new comics starting out here, as well as more experienced comics on the house shows. While most of their shows are stand-up comedy showcases that feature around 7 comics performing 10 minutes each, occasionally they also have improv shows, sketch shows, experimental comedy shows, & headliner shows. Shows are usually only $5-10 dollars with no drink requirements, so you definitely don't have to break the budget to see NYC comedy here.
