Time Out says

Trap meets jazz (and a whole lot of orchestral muscle) when Ryan Easter’s Trap Music Orchestra returns to The Jazz Gallery (1158 Broadway). This monthly residency features of two sets on Wednesday, September 9. Founded in 2014, the ensemble reimagines trap and hip-hop through the traditions of orchestral jazz, drawing connections between Black diasporic music and influences ranging from disco and Panamanian folk to Debussy and Earth, Wind & Fire—now that's eclecticism. There are livestream options for both the 7pm and 9pm sets. Tickets are available through The Jazz Gallery.
