Time Out says

Last year, WhiskyX took New York residents on a journey around the world of whiskey – offering rare casks and exclusive tastings from some of the world's most sought-after brands.

In 2018, they're back and even bigger. They’ll be bringing 60 whiskey brands to the Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Duggal Greenhouse on Friday June 8. The festival will see rare whiskeys and bourbons from the likes of Ardbeg; Bruichladdich; Johnnie Walker; Whistlepig; Bulleit and more, all brought together under one roof.

Of course, you can't sample whiskey on an empty stomach, so they'll also be pulling together some of the city's best-loved food trucks, to supply the eats. Want to get fancy? If you purchase a VIP ticket, you'll be treated to whiskey-spiked snacks from acclaimed New York chefs. Keep an eye on the WhiskyX website for more announcements on that front.

Tunes will be courtesy of a live performance by indie pop outfit Wild Child. The seven-piece Austin based mini-orchestra will be supplying a soundtrack spiked with ukulele, cello and harmonica to the proceedings–all a very good pairing with whiskey.

Guests will also get access to extra perks like haircuts courtesy of Blind Barber, and whiskey and cigar pairing tips at the WhiskyX Cigar Lounge.

But the best thing about an event like this is always meeting the people behind the whiskeys. It will be packed with distillers, brand ambassadors and industry experts–all in aid of helping you drink better.
