Do you have fond memories of this year’s Open House New York, when off-limits venues—such as the Rail Yards at the High Line—granted public access for a weekend? Now you can get an insider’s look at 25 of New York’s creative and digital agencies during WalkaboutNYC. Companies such as Open Plans (which designed an interactive map for the Department of Transportation that allowed New Yorkers to suggest bike-share locations), Swayspace and Red Antler will let groups of visitors tour their work spaces, pet their dogs, drink their beer and enjoy their rooftops. Participants will also get the chance to powwow with staff during a Q&A at the end of each visit.
