Gowanderlust

The Gowanus Canal, no stranger to urban-renewal projects itself, is the epicenter of a walking tour of the area dotted with film screenings. Photographer Nathan Kensinger will lead the hour-long jaunt, and participants will see five experimental shorts—three of which were shot on (or in) the canal.
