A Date with Traditional Arts

The National Arts Council has something up its sleeves as part of the Singapore Night Festival. Make your way to the redeveloped Stamford Arts Centre (SAC) and enjoy the charm of traditional arts through Indian classical dance by Bhaskar's Arts Academy, Malay music performance by Kelana Purba, Mandarin cross-talk by Sin Feng Xiang Sheng Society, traditional glove puppetry by the Paper Monkey Theatre and more. Try your hand at batik painting, Chinese calligraphy and Rangoli, too. There's also an architectural, virtual Chinese opera and SAC's self-guided walking trails if you're keen to learn more about the multidisciplinary centre.
