Affordable Art Fair Singapore
Time Out says
Looking to start an art collection at home but can't afford an original Monet or Picasso? Head to the Affordable Art Fair, which returns to our shores for three days this November. The 10th edition of the world's leading showcase for affordable contemporary art will be held at the F1 Pit Building this year. This year's fair will host more than 80 exhibitors and present artworks by more than 600 local and international artists.
You'll find a variety of local, regional, and international galleries that cater to both first-time buyers and experienced collectors. Affordable Art Fair Singapore showcases a wide range of contemporary art priced below $15,000 with 75 percent of art under $7,500. Whether you're looking for original paintings, prints, sculpture, or photography, the fair is the best place to purchase works by young, emerging artists alongside established names in the art world. New galleries this year include Chryse Gallery of Fine Art (Singapore), and Jinsan Gallery (Korea).
If you're clueless about buying your first art piece, don't fret. There'll be professionals giving hands-on advice and educational guidance to both new and established art lovers and collectors. Alternatively, just appreciate the fresh artworks and hang out with friends over lunch, coffee, or a glass of wine, and attend free art tours and talks – who knows, you might just be inspired to start your own art collection.
