However, thanks to Will Ramsay, CEO of Affordable Art Fair (AAF), things have changed for the better. The AAF organises art fairs in 10 cities around the world – London, New York, Hong Kong, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Singapore, Stockholm, Melbourne and Sydney – that aims to make art accessible and, of course, affordable, for the masses.
Every year, over a hundred thousand people come together in an inclusive and welcoming environment to discover new art by both upcoming and established artists. Prepare to witness an exhibition featuring more than a thousand original artworks from 80 galleries, both international and local, with nothing above $15,000. Most art pieces are priced below $7,500 and a great selection are under $1,000, so this is the best place to browse and buy great art like paintings, sculptures, photography and digital art.
Apart from the eye feast, there are also various activities for all to learn more about art. Think artist performances, innovative talks and tours, hands-on workshops, kids' activities and live music, so make a weekend of it.
