AFX: In the Distance

As part of her residency with THE Second Company, New Zealander Sarah Foster-Sproull shares her brand of surrealist magic in a piece that explores migratory journeys – with an ethereal slant. A gritty, energetic dance collides with ‘body-based images’ as dancers navigate around, towards and past one another. Also in the AFX line-up is Obscure, a piece on the transformation of the human body by Miwa Okuno (Japan) and Zhuo Zihao (Singapore).
