Indonesian artist Kartika Affandi will be in town to discuss modern Indonesian art, as well as the artistic practice of her painter father, Affrandi. Long regarded as one of Indonesia’s foremost expressionist painters, Affandi’s paintings were exhibited across Europe in the '40s and '50s, and 'til today he is still considered an important figure in Indonesian modern art.
