Time Out says

Step through the Anywhere Door and embark on a time-travelling adventure with Doraemon. The cat type robot from our childhood is making his way to the National Museum of Singapore (NMS) for Doraemon's Time-Travelling Adventures in Singapore from October 31 to December 27. Meet the beloved character many of us grew up with through photo opportunities within the museum's grounds and specially-designed collectables.

One of the most iconic doors in Japanese manga and anime, the Anywhere Door is found alongside adorable Doraemon statues across the museum's front lawn – perfect for a photo opportunity. Inside the museum, the Time Machine, another classic gadget invites you to travel through both time and space. All installations are applied with self-disinfecting coating and cleaned regularly. Visitors are also advised to refrain from touching the installations and to continue to observe safe management measures as well as good personal hygiene during their visit.

Check out some Gadgets of the Past in a temporary showcase at the Singapore History Gallery. This is a prelude to the museum's "Collecting Contemporary Singapore" initiative to broaden its contemporary collection.

Explore stories of Singapore through fascinating artefacts in the museum's galleries and the museum's National Collection. Launching on October 31 is a fully online trail by the museum called "Let's jalan-jalan!", which allows visitors to enjoy from the comfort of their home and rediscover fun facts about 14 neighbourhoods around Singapore through an "island-wide" hunt through doraemonxnms.sg/mediapath
