Walk through ethereal skyscrapers and experience a dream-like city at Floating City during the Light To Night festival. The installation, suspended at the Gallery's Padang Atrium, takes inspiration from the book Invisible Cities and a poem by local poet Marc Nair, Floating City. ‘Towers’ made out of string are suspended from different heights and are lit from within, creating an inner glow. Throughout the festival, the installation's lighting will respond to music from the performances at the Padang Atrium stairs, transforming in colour and intensity according to the sounds.
