The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts presents Japanese Design Today 100, a touring exhibition that charts the course of 100 contemporary items and designs in the past six years. Each product captures the essence of Japanese culture, so expect a mix of contemporary furniture, stationery, transportation and accessories featuring historical post-war designs – among them Japan’s first automated rice cooker, and a piece by Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake.
