Together with Nouri’s exhibition, the multidisciplinary space Appetite will also be part of 2024’s Singapore Art Week by presenting the exhibition New Tropics. This exhibition brings together works by contemporary artists of Southeast Asia, answering the question of what 'the tropics' have come to represent through a range of different art mediums and approaches.
A specially curated playlist by the cultural think tank Tropical Futures Institute will also showcase the progressive soundscapes associated with the tropics.
And there’s more – Appetite will collaborate with the S.E.A Focus art fair to present an artist talk and dinner experience on January 16, featuring two of the exhibition’s artists, Izat Arif and Kristoffer Ardeña. Reservations can be made here.
