O Dear What Can the Matter Be

Homegrown artist Stephanie Burt’s first solo exhibition features installation works that marry diverging opposites. In O Dear What Can the Matter Be, Burt brings together materials that would mostly be considered diametric opposites, such as ribbon and wire, and iron and lace. Her exhibit illustrates fairytales and magical spaces through the friction between materials.
