Time Out says

Set a date with quirky postcards at 'Pameran Poskad 2020', which returns on December 11 at ION Art gallery. With a name that translates to 'postcard exhibition' in Malay, 'Pameran Poskad' is a community art exhibition that shares the joy of experiencing art as creators, appreciators, and collectors.

'Pameran Poskad' is a show by ordinary people from all walks of life who may or may not consider themselves to be artists. The group exhibition showcases postcard-sized artworks from more than 450 artists and creators from Singapore and around the world.

For sale are more than 4,000 pieces of artwork ranging from two-dimensional prints, paintings and illustrations, to three-dimensional objects, ceramics and even toys – all that fit within a postcard-sized sleeve. This ‘poskad’ size means that the works are small, compact and easy for anyone to purchase and collect an original piece of artwork. A percentage of every sale will be donated to Beautiful People, a volunteer movement involved in youth and family social work, in support of their youth mentorship programmes.

This year's edition will also include a new component titled 'Small Artworks', a section that will feature artworks by specially invited artists in sizes not more than 50 x 50 cm, priced at $2,500 and below. With the 'Small Artworks' section, Pameran Poskad aims to encourage more people to collect art and support artists, and ultimately make the arts more sustainable.
