Time Out says

The need for supplies is greater than ever. As some measures of the circuit breaker continue, donations across all charities have dropped and there are also fewer volunteers due to the strict restrictions on social distancing. Plus, the need for essentials has swiftly increased during this period, and charities like The Food Bank Singapore is toiling tirelessly to make sure that no one goes hungry.

Combining its passion for the arts, mixology and joie de vivre (joy of living), French mineral water brand Perrier teams up with some of Singapore's top chefs and bartenders to lend support to The Food Bank Singapore by presenting #Lockdown Artists Charity Auction. Taking place on June 20 at 4pm via facebook.com/PerrierSg, the silent auction aims to raise $10,000 for the charity by selling original artworks created during the two-month circuit breaker.

The one-hour auction is hosted by Kiss 92FM DJ Maddy Barber who will also be speaking to the artists about the inspiration and creative process behind their masterpieces. For those who plan on the bidding, take note – the silent bidding starts on the same day, and closes on June 28 at 11.59pm. Unlike your usual auction, this silent version is less intense as bids are typed online instead of said aloud. But like your usual auction, the highest listed bidder wins the item once the auction has ended.

It's fastest fingers first too as the first 25 bidders receive a complimentary Perrier mocktail, specially shaken by the mixologists at Jigger & Pony, delivered to their doorstep. Expect nothing less than a tantalising concoction. After all, the CBD bar was recently named The Best Bar in Asia on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2020.

Look forward to art pieces by chefs and bartenders including Janice Wong (2am:dessertbar), Jorge Conde (Smoke & Mirrors), Juan Yijun and Jessica 'Hutch' Hutchinson (No Sleep Club), Naz Arjuna (Bitters & Love), Petrina Loh (Morsels), Phoebe Oviedo (Open Farm Community), Oliver Truesdale-Jutras (Open Farm Community), and Rishi Naleendra (Cloudstreet, Cheek Bistro and Kotuwa).

"The Food Bank Singapore has always adopted a creative approach to raising awareness of our mission to eradicate hunger. We are honoured to be the beneficiary of this amazing initiative that showcases the talents and artistry of F&B champions. It harmonises with our belief that food is more than sustenance which keeps our stomachs filled but more importantly, food nourishes our spirits as well," adds Nichol Ng, co-founder of The Food Bank Singapore.

Join Perrier, The Food Bank and the various F&B champs in this meaningful initiative, in a bid to support the F&B industry and the community.
