Save some hours for some art and music appreciation at Mizuma Gallery where Chinese artist Du Kun is showcasing his solo exhibition Scores of Landscapes. While the scrolls of landscape painting presented here look serene and ancient, they are actually pieces of nervous, sad, discordant, and unconventional music. It's a sight to behold as Du Kun applies the logic of painting to compose music, and subsequently translates the various elements of the compositions into traditional Chinese landscape paintings – resulting in a new kind of music score.
