The (un)-related Sceneries

Malaysian artist Wong Perng Fey presents a solo exhibition inspired by his time living in Beijing, where artists and migrant workers face the constant threat of eviction as old buildings are torn down in an effort to gentrify all neighbourhoods. Wong's works present his bittersweet impressions and memories of demolished villages; a modern day critique of rapid urbanisation.
