The Wormhole

The storytelling and performance programme features the works of local artists Joo Choon Lin, Ruyi Wong, Ong Kian Peng and Geraldine Kang, and aims to explore the idea of evolution. On display is a machiya (traditional Japanese wooden townhouses) that fell through the titular wormhole to land in the middle of Liang Court. Throughout the 11-day long exhibition, the appearance of the machiya, as interpreted by the artists, will subtly change, with new rooms added to the machiya to create a fictional tale on how it came to be.
