Under My Skin

Motherhood’s hardly an easy journey, as Under My Skin sets out to prove in its tackling of ante- and post-natal depression. Emily is a 65-year-old mum who, on New Year’s Eve, is caught in a moment of introspection: of how watching her son Ray transform from infant to boy to the 30-year-old man he is today has changed her psyche. It’s a universal tale, inspired by personal experiences with motherhood, about a woman’s struggle to make peace with her past while living in the present.
