Time Out says

Strawberry picking. Also known as the ultimate cottagecore activity; the pinnacle of cute and wholesome dates. The only problem is, most strawberry farms are in Seoul or Japan, making an affordable and easy activity into a full-blown trip that exceeds your budget. Gone are the days of having to plan a trip to our nearest option, Genting Highlands, just for a brief session, as Singapore now has a strawberry picking farm where you can harvest as many strawberries as your basket can hold.

Blooom Singapore is a local vertical farm that produces a wide variety of crops, such as Japanese mustard spinach, cherry tomatoes, and of course, strawberries. While strawberries are known to only grow in colder climates, the strawberries at Blooom are the result of selective cross-breeding to create a strain of strawberries that can grow even in tropical climates. These strawberries come in three different varieties: red, white, and even pink, each offering distinctive levels of sweetness and juiciness.

For just $38, visitors will have 45 minutes to harvest as many strawberries – be it red, white, or pink – as their basket can hold. The session also includes an audio-guided tour to learn more about the farm and its crops while you harvest away. An Easter egg hunt is also available during the harvest, with clues unveiled in the audio guide, adding an extra layer of excitement to your strawberry picking experience. Do note that in order to maintain the clean environment of the farm, visitors must wear a mask upon entering. You can book your strawberry picking session on Blooom’s website.
