Time Out says

Since its temporary closure during the circuit breaker in April this year, Floral Fantasy marks the final ticketed attraction at Gardens by the Bay to reopen on November 21 – just in time for the school holidays and the festive season. Resume your romantic strolls through the stunning scenes of floral artistry created with preserved, dried, and fresh flowers such as orchids, fuchsias, begonias, impatiens, and more – making the perfect backdrop for the 'gram.

To welcome visitors back, Floral Fantasy is also offering special rates – $10 for Singapore residents (usual price $12) and $15 for standard (usual price $20) – and a redeemable complimentary ice-cream cone from Café Aster with every ticket purchased.

Opened in April 2019, the indoor garden combines flowers, artistry and technology together to create a special experience for visitors. You can find four diverse and beautiful garden landscapes at the attraction, and each showcases a different theme.

Dance is the first garden landscape of Floral Fantasy. Walk into flowers being suspended upside down from above, forming a brightly-coloured canopy for visitors. Segue to the next part called Float where there is an open space with a body of water. Find your way through the twisty trees and droopy branches to the next arena called Waltz. Resembling a rainforest, the space is filled with driftwood structures and a two metre-tall poison dart frog statue. Finish the tour at Drift which is reminiscent of a cavern. The semi-enclosed space is ringed with terraced rock where exotic South American orchids grow out from the rock, while hanging ferns drape down from the ceiling, creating a magical atmosphere.

Safety guidelines, including wearing masks even during photo-taking, not gathering in groups of more than five people, and observing a safe distance of one-metre from other visitors, are to be followed at all times. For more information, visit gardensbythebay.com.sg.

What’s on

Disney Garden of Wonder

It’s time to live out your Disney dreams at Gardens by the Bay. Floral Fantasy comes alive once again with the return of Disney Garden of Wonder, which opens from now until March 2027. For its second instalment, the impressive horticultural display features over 20 Disney and Pixar character topiaries spread across six zones. One of the biggest highlights at this year’s showcase is the debut of Anna and Elsa from Frozen. The Arendelle sisters each get their own floral setting, complete with a frosty archway and icy mountains, alongside other Disney princesses like Jasmine from Aladdin, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzel from Tangled. Other returning favourites include Toy Story heroes Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, plus Winnie the Pooh and pals. You can also expect light-hearted installations that feature Disney icons in a more Singaporean setting, such as a playful display of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck operating a teh tarik stall.
