This immersive attraction is more than a perfumery – it's also an exhibition that will transport you into a world of orchids and rainforest flora. More than 300 augmented reality exhibits line the walls: read up on the history of different plants and flowers in Singapore and scan QR codes to access interactive quizzes.
One activity you shouldn't miss is Scentopia's signature perfume workshop. Here, you can tinker with orchid essential oils to create your own signature fragrance. It starts with a personality quiz based on the MBTI tests that will determine the proportion of citrus, fresh, floral, woody, and oriental fragrances in your mix. Then it's off to Scentopia's vast bank of scents to pick out your favourites to go into your final perfume. At the end of the day, you can walk away with a beautiful 50ml ($95) or 100ml ($125) bottle packaged in a cute leather bag.
The perfume-making experience lasts about an hour, but visitors are free to explore the space for as long as they like. Besides exploring the exhibits, you can also browse Scentopia's very own line of floral perfumes or buy DIY kits to create your signature perfume at home. There's space at the venue for birthday parties, bridal showers and team events too.
