Time Out says

Marked by Maker’s Mark is a month-long campaign that is set to take over the Lion City, adding to the already high-octane lineup this September. Teaming up with talented bartenders at some of the most notable bars on the island, the American bourbon brand is set to showcase innovative reimaginations of well-loved whiskey classics such as the Whisky Sour, the Manhattan, and the Old Fashioned.

The campaign will see a total of 16 bars putting on their own spin to the iconic classics which results in over 30 brand new Marked by Maker’s cocktails. Now this calls for a proper bar crawl. Savour on the Devilwood Sour, a refreshingly slick take on an osmanthus whiskey sour at Stay Gold Flamingo – one of Asia’s 50 Best Bars. Or go bananas with the desserty Banofee Old Fashioned at Lumo. At the vibey Neon Pigeon, choose between (or double fist) a fizzy clarified Apple Sour and the Me So Honey with peach and yuzu flavours.

The month-long party peaks on both September 22 and 29 when Marked by Maker’s Mark pops up at the brand new four-storey White Shades helmed by award-winning bartender Bai Jia Wei. Guests are invited to sip on two of Bai’s creations where he riffs on mulled wine and a whiskey highball infused with coconut and lychee.

Fringe entertainment and activities are also lined up such as groovy tunes by homegrown DJ AKA Sounds, reusable plastic coaster-making workshops by Plastify and the signature Maker’s Mark wax dipping station where guests can get their whisky glasses meticulously hand-dipped in signature red wax.
