Despite the national obsession with jogging, we're not particularly fond of tightening our trainers to go on an evening amble – well, unless there's the promise of a cold pint waiting at the end of the slog. With the launch of Mikkeller Bar's Running Club here in Singapore, we've now run out of excuses.
To become a lifetime member of this run-and-chug crew, buy a t-shirt ($25) and join marathoner and craft beer drinker Desiree Koh at the start of the 3-kilometre run (it's at the Prinsep Street bar). Sprinters and stragglers alike get a free glass of a house brew for completing the course. Not a bad way to kick off an evening of more beer chugging, we think.
