Raise a toast this Christmas with Maker's Mark

Indecent Elevation is a cinnamon roll in a drink, with the sharp aromas of cinnamon spice, citrus and sugar balanced by the caramel, vanilla and fruity undertones of Maker's Mark whisky. Surprise Swizzle combines the sweetness of strawberries with sour plum and basil for a subtle Asian touch, and the whisky rounds it out with the surprising fragrance of woody oak and caramel wheat. Coffee pork ribs are getting an upgrade at Butcher Boy, which is serving up a menu of Maker's Mark inspired dishes from November 24 to December 30. In its rendition, the zi char favourite gets topped with a whisky-infused coffee espuma, lending a subtle caramel note to the savoury Maker’s Mark Pork Ribs ($24). On the menu is also the Maker's Mark Maple Sweet Potato ($12), a spiced-up fried sweet potato dish drizzled with a sweet, warm glaze of maple and whisky. Two Maker's Mark whisky cocktails complete the set. Get cosy with Adam's Apple ($24), which will warm you down to your toes with vanilla, caramel, apple and cinnamon notes; Forbidden Fruit ($24) is a perk-me-up – refreshing rosemary, sage and citrus tickle the nose, while caramel and fruit from the wheated bourbon go down smooth on the taste buds.

If there was ever a doubt that chocolate and whisky go well together, the Andaz x Maker's Mark whisky mud cake will put those to rest. This 600g cake comes with a creamy salted butterscotch core, generously glazed in Valrhona dark chocolate and topped with more chocolate shavings.
