Time Out says

Commanding the spotlight at Taki Taki is not DJ Snake or Selena Gomez, but rather, the under-the-radar spirit: rum. This balcony bar is located above The Working Capitol, and serves a rum-focused menu from 4pm for those looking to get an early post-work drink overlooking Keong Saik Road.

If you’re yearning for a quick escape, perhaps nursing a sunset-hued Painkiller ($17) is most befitting. We also like the Nyonya Daiquiri ($17), a Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum-fuelled classic made more Asian with gula Melaka and coconut milk. The Planter’s Punch ($17) is a well-crafted drink that has just enough sweetness to make it pretty damn drinkable. Make sure to watch for your drink count.

Those looking to make it your regular haunt can consider acquiring a bottle for the long run, the range runs safe but versatile – Appleton 12 YO, Mount Gay Extra Old to the frisky Six Saints Caribbean. Not sure where to start? Sample its 13 different rums (from $15) by the glass before making a commitment. These tipples are good to go with their snack menu that includes satay and char siew tacos ($16 for three). We’re not sure how in-line with the Tiki theme those are, but they up the fun quotient.
