Old Fashioned lovers and those curious to expand their cocktail palate – this one’s for you. Super premium American whiskey, Woodford Reserve, and classic cocktail, Old Fashioned, are giving you the annual Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned Month celebration as well as The Wonderful Race in Singapore.

For one month over October and November, you get to enjoy Old Fashioned with a Curated Tour in the best bars here spinning their own twist to this classic cocktail. On top of that, The Wonderful Race is a competition between the best bartenders showcasing their take on the Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned. You know you’ll want to sample all their concoctions as they will be in top form.

And here’s a great way to do that – a Curated Tour by none other than us, in collaboration with Woodford Reserve, on October 24 and 25. Sample Old Fashioned cocktails at different bars, discovering each bartender’s own unique twist to the classic cocktail.

Drink responsibly from 7pm on both evenings. The curated bar tour on October 24 includes Brooklyn Bar, Employees Only Singapore, Maison Ikkoku and Wine Creek Bar. October 25’s tour includes Junior The Pocket Bar, MO Bar, Potato Head Singapore and Sugarhall. Secure your spot here and use TIMEOUT10 to enjoy 10 percent off any of the tickets – promotion ends Friday, October 20 at 11.59pm.

Outside of the tour, Burnt Ends Bar and Sago House will also feature Old Fashioned cocktails for you to try during the Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned Month.

Look forward to tasting these off-menu, specially created cocktails by these talented bartenders at their participating bars. Brooklyn Bar presents bartender Danny Dave with The Prosperity Cocktail – a blend of sweet and spicy flavours. Burnt Ends Bar presents bartender Edwin Lopez with B.M.W aka Burnt Maple Woodford that features citrusy undertones.

Bartender Jude Joseph of Employees Only Singapore creates Double Down using fascinating textures to capture Woodford Reserve’s distinct notes of cinnamon, coffee, anise and black pepper. Junior The Pocket Bar presents bartender Eduardo Zamora with American Flower, a twist on the Old Fashioned where artichoke liqueur infused with mushrooms, truffle oil and Demerara syrup are added in.

Bartender Ming Shan of Maison Ikkoku presents Milk and Honey Old-Fashioned. She explains the cocktail name is a metaphor for all good things. Bartender Kim JungHoo of MO Bar serves up the smooth and velvety Catwalk Old-Fashioned, infused with a homemade beer syrup. He believes the most crucial aspect of a cocktail is how it is presented.

Potato Head Singapore presents bartender Daniel Fong with Otis Rock, a blend of Bourbon, jalapenos, sour apple, coffee, and chocolate that’s suitable for both cocktail novices and  connoisseurs. Sago House presents bartender Norman Tan with Tropic Wood that incorporates a pineapple infusion.

Sugarhall presents bartender Raz with Not Too Conventional inspired by Tex-Mex Cuisine. And Wine Creek Bar presents bartender Russell Ong with Does Size Really Matter? – a sweet and comforting concoction of vanilla, tea, and Garrett’s popcorn
